Zucchini and zucchini season brings out the creativity in everyone as we all try to find new ways to preserve them for the winter. And so, the zucchini caviar is already in pieces on the shelf, and the zucchini pancakes are eaten for breakfast. Let’s make zucchini jam with orange and lemon. It may sound a little strange, but the taste is simply unsurpassed. After tasting this jam, your guests will never guess what it is made from.

Tips for making zucchini jam

Zucchini jam with orange and lemon is prepared as simply as from berries or fruits. We will not add any thickeners during the process; everything will work out just fine without it. If at the end you feel like the jam is a little runny, don’t worry, it will thicken over time.

As for vegetables, you need to take young zucchini. If this is not possible, the mature vegetable must be deprived of its seed box and hard peel. But in the latter case, you need to weigh the zucchini for the recipe after peeling.

If you want to get more experimental, try adding ginger, dried apricots or apples to the zucchini jam.
